If you Push, Life will Push Back!

Do you remember when you were in school and someone on the playground or in the hallway pushed you? What was the first thing that you thought to do? In most cases you immediately wanted to push them back, right?

Your self improvement efforts work exactly the same way.

If you are considering making some positive changes in your life, it is because you recognize that there are some aspects of your life that you feel need improvement. In fact, you probably want to change those aspects of your life so badly that you want to push them away. For example:

I don't want to be overweight anymore.

I don't want to be broke anymore.

I don't want to work in this dead-end job anymore.

I don't want to fight with my spouse anymore.

I don't want to drink so much anymore.

I don't want to smoke cigarettes anymore.

Michael Losier, author of the book 'Law of Attraction' has a great technique that he uses when teaching people to gain success by using the Law of Attraction:

Eliminate the words "don't," "not," and "no" from your vocabulary. It's an excellent technique because regardless of how you word it, if you are saying something that includes one of those words, you are pushing against that thing.

It all goes back to the basic definition of the Law of Attraction; "like attracts like". Whenever you push against something that you want to change in your life, the only thing that you are attracting is more of what you are pushing against!

By trying to push something away from you, you are in essence turning yourself into a magnet for whatever it is that you are trying to get away from. The Universe will line up circumstances to ensure that you:

Some people would just give up at this point since it seems hopeless. You are trying to get all of these horrific things out of your life, yet by trying to push them away, you are just drawing them in even deeper. Where is the way out of this vicious cycle?

The way to change negative situations into positive situations is to draw upon the same power that was working against you before; the Law of Attraction.

Being a Universal law, the Law of Attraction is mindlessly obedient and will respond to exactly what you ask for. We "ask" for things from the Law of Attraction with our feelings. If those feelings are of anger, despair, hopelessness, frustration, doubt, insecurity, and the like, then those circumstances will continue to manifest themselves into our lives. However, by turning the tables on a negative situation by removing negative words and feelings, you can instead begin to attract the positive things that will allow you to continually feel great.

In most cases, simply rewording the way that you say things to yourself is sufficient to start generating positive assistance from the Law of Attraction. For example:

Instead of "I don't want to be overweight anymore," you say, "My life is so much better since I have started eating healthy foods and exercising, and I am losing weight every single day!"

Instead of "I don't want to be broke anymore," you say, "Money is coming into my life frequently from many different sources and my financial status is constantly improving!"

Instead of "I don't want to fight with my spouse anymore," you say, "My spouse and I get along great every day, and whenever we have a disagreement, we work through it together so that we can quickly get back to enjoying our marriage."

Instead of "I don't want to drink so much anymore," you say, "I am enjoying my life even though I drink less than I used to. In fact, since I started drinking less, my quality of life has improved dramatically!"
