Following is a list of resources, guides, books, and services that we’ve found useful and recommend.

Nutrition and Healthy Eating

Recipe: Green Juice / Green Lemonade

  • 1 Head Romaine
  • 2 Apples
  • 1-2 Lemons
  • 5-6 Leaves of Kale (spinach leaves work well too)
  • 5 Stalks of Celery
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger (optional)

Juice all ingredients in juicer – makes 2 large servings.

Recipe: Banana Protein Smoothie

  • 2 Cups Milk (or Rice Milk or Almond Milk – our favorite)
  • 2 Tbsp Almond Butter
  • 2 Scoops Vanilla Protein Powder (actually non-flavored is best)
  • 3-4 Frozen Bananas (we break them in pieces and keep frozen – works like ice cubes)

Blend all ingredients in blender – makes 2 large servings.
