Nutrition and Healthy Eating
Recipe: Green Juice / Green Lemonade
- 1 Head Romaine
- 2 Apples
- 1-2 Lemons
- 5-6 Leaves of Kale (spinach leaves work well too)
- 5 Stalks of Celery
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger (optional)
Juice all ingredients in juicer – makes 2 large servings.
Recipe: Banana Protein Smoothie
- 2 Cups Milk (or Rice Milk or Almond Milk – our favorite)
- 2 Tbsp Almond Butter
- 2 Scoops Vanilla Protein Powder (actually non-flavored is best)
- 3-4 Frozen Bananas (we break them in pieces and keep frozen – works like ice cubes)
Blend all ingredients in blender – makes 2 large servings.
