I’m sorry to see the carnival leaving Today Is That Day… but thanks for putting me in it 🙂

    Marc,

Thanks for your contribution while the carnival was here. The “doing it differently” posts have really helped people to think outside of the box!

A great collection of entries organized nicely. I hope you get some good follow-up; that seems to be one of the challenges of carnival hosting.

If you want to do an edition hosted elsewhere drop a line my way. I’d be willing to give it a shot.

    Ciao

    Thanks a bunch, Kilroy!

Carnival hosting is a lot of fun, and I highly recommend it for anyone who has the time to dedicate to putting together quality collections of content from around the blogosphere.

A fantastic collection of content, to be sure. Posts done in the spirit of contribution seem often to be of a higher level, and I look forward very much to reading through many of them.

Thanks, Aaron, for all you do.

    Best regards as always,

    Shauna

Thank you so much for your continued support and enthusiasm, Shauna!

You’ve been a bright star in every comment, blog post, or conversation that you have written or taken part in. Always a pleasure to read what you have to say! 🙂

Aaron, I’ve never heard of a blog carnival before. I’m guessing by the looks of it, that it’s simply a collection of links from other blogs on a specific topic?

Looks interesting, I may try one 🙂

    Steve,

At a basic level, yes, a blog carnival is just a collection of links. However, a good host will also take the time to actually read through the links to make sure that they offer true value.

Many blog hosts just copy and paste the link list from the form that Blog Carnival puts out, and to me, that is just a list of links. Hosting a carnival – in my opinion – should also include at least reading the posts to ensure value, if not actually writing up a quick note about each post, when time allows.

    (Re: answer to Steve)

…and THAT is why we will miss your carnival, Aaron. You always take the time to outline what you are doing and why.

Thanks again for everything, including your kind comments.

We look forward to hearing about whatever you may be focusing on instead of this. Whether it is fitness- or personal development-related, or anything else, for that matter, no doubt it will bring immense value to all of us who are ready!

    Cheers,

    Shauna

Thank you so much, Shauna! Your positive feedback is always such a welcome part of my day! 🙂

I’ve got several “irons in the fire” right now, including keeping up with everyone at Personal Development Partners, blogging almost daily over at Fitness Destinations, and, of course, growing my Fitness Coaching business.

I am even considering going back into one-on-one personal training for a year or so until I move out to the coast of Florida in 2009. There is just no end to the fun in my life! 🙂
