Self Empowerment, Self Improvement, and the Law of Attraction

Welcome to the first of what will ultimately be a veritable warehouse of messages about how to empower your life, improve your circumstances, and invoke the universal power of the Law of Attraction in order to find your personal definition of happiness!

The purpose of this blog is to provide a free and easy to use system for people to learn how to make their lives what they want them to be by learning about how things truly work in the universe.

Most of us have been brought up in an environment where we were taught and/or surrounded by people who might not have had the true answers that we seek today. As of the writing of this post – September 22, 2006 – we are only a generation or two into an era of humanity that will shape our futures in a much more fundamental way than the “brick and mortar” version that past generations have seen.

We are now beginning to understand that the power of our minds (for lack of a more detailed explanation at this point) is even more powerful than the world around us. In fact, the world around us is only there because of the power of the human mind. With no thought, there can be no creation. The sooner you embrace the fact that you are walking around with cosmic power at your fingertips, the sooner you will start to learn how to wield that power for your own good, as well as the good of humanity as a whole.

There are many concepts, teachings, and points of view that go into learning how to be “enlightened” so that you can truly embrace freedom and happiness on this earth. I will cover many of those things here on this blog, and many others as well.

Although my primary course of study and understanding is presently in the effective utilization of the Law of Attraction, I have no doubt that other well known – and not so well known – practices and beliefs will also be gracing my life, as well as these pages.

You, the reader, need only come by here as often as you like in order to learn and also share your own opinion on these matters. This resource is here for you, and I intend to make it as valuable as possible so that you will come here frequently to expand your awareness, and share your thoughts.

This blog is part of the web presence that I have at https://TodayIsThatDay.com, and you will find similar teachings and resources there.

Another thing that will separate this blog from my main site is the content. You will see references to articles that I have written, which I do encourage you to check out, although I will not be posting articles here on the blog. For one, the articles are already housed on the main site, and you are encouraged to go there and sign up for the free newsletter so that you can receive notification about that content. However, the real difference between those articles and the postings on this blog will be the nature of the material.

Although the concepts will remain the same, and all information will be geared towards educating and helping people, articles are very “official”. They are not written from the first person perspective, and they tend to need to “work for everyone”. There is nothing wrong with that, and I write at least one new article each week.

However, the type of content to be found here on the blog will be much more personable. It will not be a day to day recount of my life, as I recognize that my personal details will mean very little to you. However, the words on these pages will come from a much more down to earth perspective.

I will use examples from my own life as well as the lives of the people that I help and come into contact with. I will use these real life circumstances as examples of how to apply some of the concepts of self improvement and self empowerment that you will learn about on these pages.

There is real value in learning how to apply these concepts to your day to day life by learning how others have done the same, and that is what you can expect to find here on this blog.

I make no promises about how often I will post information for you, as that will depend on how often I am inspired to do so by witnessing or experiencing something that you may find valuable. I will not mindlessly make up things to talk about just to fill pages. If I take the time to write it down, you can rest assured that it will be of some value to you, and worth you taking a few minutes to check out.

As with most of the present day blogs, I have provided plenty of ways for you to subscribe so that you do not miss anything. The links – or chicklets, as some call them – in the right column can be used to subscribe to this blog with your favorite system.

You will also notice a very complete line of social bookmarking links at the bottom of each and every post, and I certainly encourage you to bookmark anything on this blog that you find of value. Whether you want to personally refer back to it, or if you want to help yourself by also helping others (a concept you will hear more about), then bookmark any of the pages of this blog so that others can take advantage of the information that you have come across during your web travels.

So, I think that about wraps it up for the “official” introduction, and I will leave you with the parting statement that I believe in my heart to be true, and I have made it a part of the message that I am giving to the world:

YOU are in charge of your life, and don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise!
