Self Improvement and Law of Attraction Link Love, Volume 14

By on May 12, 2007

This is Volume 14 of the Self Improvement and Law of Attraction Link Love series.

This series will be published weekly and will be comprised of links to quality blog posts that have proven to be extraordinary in their ability to assist, inform, or empower the reader. Enjoy!

Special Updates This Week!

Not only do I have an action packed Top 10 List (okay, 11, plus a quote!) of great blog posts for you to check out, but I wanted to make special note of the fact that I have linked to several bloggers who are making their debut here on the Today is that Day Link Love series. Be sure to stop by their sites and show them some love!

Also, there is plenty of Top 5 action as well thanks to Darren Rowse’s recent writing project, and I have included several useful links from that in addition to the rest of the great content here. Have at it!

1) The Ordinary Mystic – In his post Improving Relationships: The Law of Attraction is Only a First Step, Chris does a great job of putting the responsibility for relationship success squarely upon the attracting individual – You!

2) HealthyWebDesign – Dawuds’ post entitled 5 Inspirational Quotes For Conversational Blogging is great advice for bloggers, and it is incredible advice for everyone! Be sure to check out #8, err… I mean #3!

3) The Naked Soul – How much can you learn in the Wal-mart parking lot? Quite a bit – if you’re paying attention. Check out Being Aware to find out how!

4) Six Degrees of Inspiration – Okay, how many people can name The (True) Seven Wonders Of The World? You might be surprised at the wonders that made the cut!

5) The Optimized Life – In our constant search for answers, the classic irony of the situation is that we can be armed with zero answers, but can then manifest all of the knowledge that we need. The question is, Are You Asking The Right Questions?

6) Balanced Life Center – Do you think that meditation has to be a somber affair when the mind is at rest? Sure, that is a great method, but Nneka lists some alternative methods that are also effective in her post The Easiest Meditations.

7) A Better You Blog – If you have trouble enjoying all of the moments of your life, but sure to check out the post Make the Most of Every Moment: Lessons from the Terminal Illness That Wasn’t for a powerful does of perspective.

8) Dave Olson – In the post Your goals: Are YOU in them? Dave points us to the fact that our goals should be all about us. Seems rather obvious when you think about it, but a lot of people don’t think about it!

9) Positivity Blog – I am seeing an increased instance of people asking themselves similar questions to this one, and it such a powerful personal development tool! Check out Is This Useful for some great tips on how to determine what things are worthy of your attention.

10) Christine Kane – I am continually amazed at the fact that Christine can put out such amazing wisdom while at the same time managing a career as a wonderful performer! Check out her list of anti-success tactics with the post How to Get Nothing Done.

11) Breathing Prosperity – The gang at Breathing Prosperity believes as I do that we are each capable of doing literally anything that we want with our lives. However, note the difference between anything and everything with the post Personal Development: You Can’t Do EVERYTHING.

Expect Change
Change is the unavoidable consequence of carrying around large bills while making small purchases. In this case change is inevitable. Expect change.
– compliments of Mr. Besilly

Muchos Gracias to all of the bloggers who linked to Today is that Day posts this week!

Hilda who has the wonderful blog with the wonderful name Living Out Loud was kind enough to share my post ‘How to Live Out Loud‘ with her readership. Thanks, Hilda!

Breathing Prosperity pointed to the wildly popular ‘Simply Successful Secrets‘ project as an example for their readers of the importance of studying the success habits of others.

Dave Olson also referenced ‘Simply Successful Secrets‘ in his hilarious ultimate guide to a mediocre life.

In some Link Love over at Hamelife, the Doing it Differently blog carnival was referenced in addition to some other cool links worth checking out.

Top 5’s

Darren Rowse’s group writing project was a smashing success with a total of 893 entries! However, 2 of the participants decided to pick out links to some of the “best of the best” that included the Top 5 entry from Today is that Day.

Check out it at both Learning on Demand and The Sun’s Financial Diary.

Blog Carnivals that have recently included posts from Today is that Day:

The Law of Attraction Carnival featured my LOA post on relationships called ‘Can You Save Your Relationship With The Law Of Attraction?‘

The Carnival of Powerful
Living
included the post ‘Personal Development Test: Are your Dreams Keeping you up at Night?‘

The Carnival of Deliberate Creation and the Success and Abundance Mindset Carnival both included the post ‘Self Improvement Task: Affirmations that really Work ‘.

WHEW – that’s it, and that should be plenty! Many thanks to all of the linkers, the linkees, and a special thanks to all of the great authors. Words are cool. 🙂

Thanks for mentioning my post. It was fun to write.

#3 said, “Grant that we may not so much seek to be understood as to understand.” -St. Francis of Assisi

#8…”What do I think about when I strike out? I think about hitting home runs.” -Babe Ruth

I found both to be sound advice for blogging…and for living – just as you said.

    Dawud,

I love the fact that great blogging advice is just as potent when used as great LIVING advice. To me, that says a lot about the blogging medium, so thanks for that!

As you said, #3 and #8 both rocked, although my personal favorite was #8. If you’re taking a swing, you might as well swing for the fences. Great stuff! Thanks again for sharing.

Hi Aaron, my head’s been in the sand lately. (Or rather in the boxes.) Thanks for the link love. This is quite the list. Such an honor to be among the greats.

    In Spirit,
    Nneka

    Nneka,

Thanks for providing that great post about meditation. Quality stuff that is timely as well, because I think a lot of people have misconceptions about the whole “meditation thing”!

p.s. – Congratulations on getting out of the boxes! 🙂
