Self Improvement and Law of Attraction Link Love, Volume 16

By on May 26, 2007

This is Volume 16 of the Self Improvement and Law of Attraction Link Love series.

This series will be published weekly and will be comprised of links to quality blog posts that have proven to be extraordinary in their ability to assist, inform, or empower the reader. Enjoy!

1) Creating a Better Life – Lyman Reed gives us a hilarious video of the Saturday Night Live crew doing a mockery of Oprah Winfrey and the Law of Attraction. Big props to Lyman for his post Law of Attraction Humor, which helps us all to remember to not take things so seriously all the time!

2) Abundance Journal – On that same theme of keeping things light, Belle brings us the post Put the Fun Back Into Your Life, which promotes the very real fact that the mission is to have fun, and she shares a great system for doing exactly that.

3) LifeDev – Personal productivity is just that – personal. With his post Morning Person Tester: Are You Working At the Wrong Time? Glen gives us 3 easy ways to monitor whether or not we are working during the times when it is most productive for as an individual.

4) ProBlogger – Although Darren's post Make a Contract With Yourself is geared toward bloggers, the advice he gives is rock-solid for any goal that you have in life!

5) Dumb Little Man – In what is turning out to be an issue that is discussed more and more in the blogosphere, the post Sleep Adjustment – Gain 10 days per year points out the fact that each of us can program ourselves for sleep patterns that will allow us to get the highest number of hours out of each and every day.

6) Intensive Care for the Nurturer's Soul – Just in time for Memorial Day, Hueina Su shares the video "Remember Me" by Lizzie Palmer. I wholeheartedly agree with her that it is well worth your 5 minutes and 22 seconds!

7) Pick the Brain – John Wesley does a great job of pointing out why our present system of alleged productivity needs to go the way of the dinosaur in his post Why the 9 to 5 Office Worker Will Become a Thing of the Past. Can you apply these concepts to your life or career?

8) Personal Growth & Personal Development – It is an undeniable fact that each of us feels better whenever we help others, and in the post 7 Ways to Make Someone Else’s Day Better, some simple and effective methods are listed for doing so on a daily basis!

9) Live the Power – Karen continues to put out great content worth spending the time to read, and her post Work and Joy, Joy and Work is no exception. It shares some great wisdom, and a powerful quote at the end as well.

10) Shards of Consciousness – In an "after action review" of a less than positive moment in his life, Rick does a superb job of pointing out that making a mistake does not mean that you have to keep making the mistake, or that you can't learn plenty from the experience. Special props to Rick for sharing such a personal story with his post Should and Destructive Beliefs.

Blog Carnivals that have recently included posts from Today is that Day:

The 19th Edition of the Law of Attraction Carnival was hosted at Live the Power and included several great entries along with the Today is that Day post 'How to Make Money with the Law of Attraction
and Conscious Creation
'.

The May 21st Edition of the Carnival of Powerful Living had 7 separate categories, and was hosted at Verve Coaching. It included the Today is that Day post 'How to Live out Loud'.

That's it for this week! Thanks to all of the authors and blog carnival hosts for your time and for sharing your wisdom!
