Still more than 2 weeks left in the Free iPod Personal Development Push!

By on October 3, 2007

The Personal Development Push contest that I first posted about back on September 18th is going strong, and there is still plenty of time left to get involved and win lots of cool, free loot!

One of the best things about this contest (other than the free iPods!) is that each person can actually control their chances of winning.

Most contests give you a fairly finite number of ways to win, but the Personal Development Push contest puts you in control of whether or not you can get your hands on those cool prizes!

In addition, since launching the Personal Development Push contest, I have also added a very cool affiliate program to the Personal Development Partners website, and one that will be paying affiliate fees long after the contest is over.

I also put together some cool looking buttons and banners that you can use to promote Personal Development Partners. Not only will that increase your chances of winning the contest, but it will also increase your chances of making some easy money with the affiliate program.

Don't forget: 3 of the best ways to get points toward winning one of the prizes are the membership level that you sign up under, linking to PDP using various methods (detailed below), and the number of people that you refer to the site. Since no one has a drastic lead over anyone else right now in the point spread, there is still plenty of time for you to rack up tons of points and take home an awesome prize!

Also, several brand-new Senior Thought Leaders have recently donated cool and useful electronic products, and several other products have been offered to Premium site members for a ridiculously low cost.

Here is a copy and paste of the original prize details and the methods for winning. Also, on a more important note – Personal Development Partners is rockin' and rollin'! Everyone is keeping me very busy staying on top of some really great conversations that we've already had over there, and the members all seem to be getting a lot out of the site. That makes me smile! 🙂

Prize Details

1st prize is a brand new 4GB iPod Nana w/Video, preloaded with every minute of audio from Mike Dooley's incredible Infinite Possibilities program! In addition to having the MP3's preloaded onto the iPod, you will also receive the CD's themselves to listen to in your car, or just to keep for your archives.

Again, your iPod will be preloaded with the material, and you will also receive all of the CD's from the program, as well as the comprehensive Million Dollar Mindset workbook .

The gift certificate can be used to purchase anything sold on the Amazon website – you can choose to purchase personal development related products, or something completely different.

Ways to Win the Prizes

This contest is about letting people know about Personal Development Partners, and at the same time it is about rewarding people who participate and help to grow the value of the community. To win the prizes, you will accumulate points via your participation and promotional efforts, and the 3 people who have the most points at midnight EST on Friday, October 19th will win the 3 grand prizes.

In order to grow the community in as many ways as possible I have put together 10 different ways to earn points:

  • Refer a member to the site who then signs up for any type of membership – 5 pts
  • Put a link to Personal Development Partners in a blog post – 10 pts
  • Include a linked screenshot to PDP in a blog post (screenshot is below) – 15 pts
  • Put a link to PDP in the sidebar or Blogroll or your site – 20 pts

  • Sign up as a Senior Thought Leader – 50 pts

The contest ends on October 19th, at midnight EST, but the affiliate program will continue indefinitely. Win some great loot in the contest, and help people out while also making some money through the affiliate program. We call that a win/win situation!

    Adam,

That’s totally awesome! Next thing you know, you’ll be starting a brand-new blog that focuses on nothing but how to win iPods on the Internet! 🙂
